David "Redd" Carreras, entrepreneur, creator, graphic designer, and motivator born and lived most of his life in Puerto Rico. Raised in the military he moved around every two years, giving him the ability to adapt to new environments very quickly. His creativity was developed at a young age , as he was introduced to graffiti art by his mother at the young age of 12, she bought books and cans for him to practice in their backyard. At age 16 he discovered a local clothing shop called NYCA-787 now known as the popular store TREATS. The shop based around 4 elements of Hip Hop. The owners Keri and P, took Redd under their wing and started to teach him about the culture and fashion. Giving him a chance to seek new brands and experience the responsibilities of running a shop. Redd felt as the place was his own, and dedicated his time everyday after school and weekends. There he developed a heavy passion for sneakers and fashion. He's still strongly in love with both.

At age 19, He was encouraged by "P" the owner of TREATS to leave Puerto Rico and go study design abroad. He enrolled into The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, where he earned an AS in Graphic Science. Not being the best student in high school, this was considered a great achievement in his life, one of many after.

In college, with three best friends, he launched his 1st official brand at 20 years old called " SHADESOFREDD". The brand went solid for about five years, "SHADESOFREDD" was sold in over 10 stores, it truly was a huge accomplishment. During that time he learned the full process of silk screening and t-shirt making. In 2014, he launched his 2nd official brand called "DETAILS MATTER ", a premier Luxury Urban Lifestyle Company, this brand pays great attention to the fine points of it's product and materials and has reached great success. This brand is currently sold exclusively online and in TREATS.

In 2016, with over 10 years of experience working in the retail industry for companies such as (Treats, Puma, FlatSpot BoardShop etc.. wanting to expand his knowledge and learn more about garment making, he sold all his belongings and packed his car and decided to move to San Diego, CA. At the time currently hustling, designing, creating, and motivating 24/7.
